Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Investtrakr is a personal finance dashboard built and operated by its owner for their own private use. It is not offered as a public or commercial service, and this policy describes how data is handled within this single-tenant application.
What data is stored
When bank statements (CSV, Excel, or PDF) are uploaded, the file is parsed into individual transaction records — date, account, description, amount, and category — and saved to a private database. The original uploaded file itself is not retained after parsing; only the extracted transaction data is stored.
Where it's stored
All data lives in a Cloudflare D1 database tied to the owner's own Cloudflare account. The application and database run entirely on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Pages, Workers, D1) under that account — no separate third-party backend is involved.
Who can access it
Access to this site is restricted by Cloudflare Access to the owner's email address only, verified by a one-time login code. No one else can view this dashboard or the data behind it.
Sharing with third parties
Data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Cloudflare, as the hosting provider, processes data only to serve the application — it is not shared with any other third party.
Data retention and deletion
Transaction data is kept until manually removed from the database by the owner. There is currently no self-service "delete all data" control in the app itself; removal is done directly against the database by the owner.
Changes to this policy
Since this is a personal tool, this policy may change informally as the app evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
